I know the special teams coach, he's a funny guy (his son went to school with me). According to his son, he just wanted to kick a FG, it was Zorn that wanted to have a trick play. Zorn wanted the "momentum" going into halftime.

I actually believe it was against the giants earlier in the year that the Redskins did the same thing right before half time. They ran a trick field goal play which sent punter/holder Hunter Smith on a run to the endzone and they did score a TD.

I'm not sure if I'm right, but from what I recall, the receivers and blockers on the far side just wait for the screen pass while the holder/QB just get scared like shit and air it out
