Football is definitely a different breed from hockey. Divisional rivals is the worst situation (Pats/Bills). When the Bears visit Buffalo next year ill be rocking Bears gear, I fully expect some heckling, but not beer bottles thrown (please god no). But the city of Philly is a different animal in itself entirely. Wearing your opposing teams jersey in Philly is like asking for a black eye.

I should note the double beer bottle experience was when I was 10 fuckin years old with my dad.

I've only dealt with food and threats in every pats game since.....(been to every pats@bills game in the last like 15 years)

I love the random asshole in the Steelers coat (wtf are you doing there anyway?) getting pelted in the head, with no reaction. PS - It was also smart to stand there with your middle finger pointed at the crowd behind you. Fucking idiot.

Also, enough with this "Only Philly fans are scum" BS. There are asshole fans in every city, in every stadium. For whatever reason, the only time people talk about it is when it happens in Philly. Such an old and boring subject.

Philly fans are assholes and they love and thrive on it. My brother (Eagles fan) who was at that game said one of the sections was like a non-stop blizzard with fans just throwing snow in the air.

Why isn't anyone talking about when Jets fans threw snowballs at Tony Gonzalez on Sunday? And I'm sure no snow balls were thrown in Baltimore in the Bears-Ravens game.

Like I said, it happens everywhere, just people have a hard on for talking shit on Philly fans for some strange reason.
