Mobb I wasn't criticizing the Eagles for doing that I just thought it was funny. Eagles fans are assholes though, you can't deny it. They enjoy being assholes and I admire it in a way. They know who they are and play the part to a cue.

Any fan who goes into that stadium wearing the opponents gear should know exactly what they are getting themselves into.

Even if it does happen everywhere, you have to admit that Philadelphia has built a reputation of asshole fans.

Only because the media seems to only talk about the stuff that happens here. Whats annoying is the most notorious story is the Santa Claus thing that happens in the 1960's, lol. I mean really, come up with something new.

Some of the stuff fans have done in Chicago(father and son attacking a 1B coach) and Cleveland (throwing beer bottles like snowballs at refs during a Browns game) are worse yet people only remember "booing Santa Claus in Philly".

Yes, Philly fans have a known reputation, thanks to ESPN. But asshole fans are everywhere, it's just not a story unless its in Philly.

No doubt, I agree with you. Some fans take the stereotype and reputation thing to their head and feel like they have to act that way when they go to a game. Its a much smaller percentage now at the Linc, but its still there.

Philly fans are the worst imo, you get the semi-sports knowledgeable retards who cheer for them because their the "badass" team in the NFL. This doesnt account for true eagles fans but i dont know that many, yet there are a lot here in Mid/South Jersey.

My point was asshole fans are in every city. If this happened somewhere else, no one would give a shit. But since it happened in Philly, it's a story (it was shown on ESPN). Why wasn't the Jets fans throwing snowballs at Falcons players a story? It would've been if it happened in Philly. That's what I'm getting at.

It just annoys me that ESPN and other media outlets care so much about what the fans do in Philly, especially minor stuff like this that happens in any stadium that has snow in the stands. If ESPN focused on every city's fans and their behavior, I guarantee that they would have dipshits that do stuff like what was shown in the video.

there are certain fan bases that are much more violent and rude than others and the eagles fanbase is definitely one of 'em and for good reason.

every fan base has their fare share of assholes but there are certain fans of certain teams that take it to a whole nother level. i'd never sit here and try to defend the raider fan base and blame ESPN for making them out to be worse then they actually are. why would i even care to.

I hear you. Its just ESPN's hard on for Philly fans is what annoys me. Yes, there's a reason why we have the rep we have, but there has been some serious shit that's gone on in other cities that get very little to no mention. I don't care that much, it's just always annoyed me.

eagles fans are passionate, and for thos esaying Eagles Giants games its not the same at ALL... Philly/NJ is pretty evenly split, I knwo a ton fo people form Jersey that love the eagles, they do just fine at the Giants stadium. Fuck you all I'll throw a snowball at you in a heartbeat.

I'll never forget the Giants playing at Philly one year, and one of the Giants coaches little 9 year old girl was wearing a Giants sweatshirt, and a mob of Eagle fans circled this little girl who was alone at the time and proceeded to shower her in beer.
