Last year at a Bruins-Habs game I saw a bruins fan kick a habs fan down a flight of stairs.
Iggles fans............sad!

all this talk of snowballs but no mention of Giants fans throwing beer bottles at DeSean a few weeks back after he scored? Come on nowComment

I love the random asshole in the Steelers coat (wtf are you doing there anyway?) getting pelted in the head, with no reaction. PS - It was also smart to stand there with your middle finger pointed at the crowd behind you. Fucking idiot.
Also, enough with this "Only Philly fans are scum" BS. There are asshole fans in every city, in every stadium. For whatever reason, the only time people talk about it is when it happens in Philly. Such an old and boring subject.
Funny ass video, though.

I'm not defending what the Philly fans did, but you'd have to be insane to wear the opposition's jersey at an Eagles game.
It would be like a black man walking into the middle of a KKK meeting.
It's just stupid.
When me and friends used to go to Eagles game, we brought a Giants fan with us once for the N.Y.-Eagles game. He was smart. He wore his jersey underneath a regular shirt and sweater and never once showed it.
During the tailgate, he'd tell some Philly fans he was a Giants' fan, but he was never an asshole about it.
From my experience at Eagles' games (about 8 or so), I found the asshole % to be very small, but very noticeable.
One game vs. the Redskins, a guy with a Redskins jersey got drunk and decided to taunt Eagles fans at the tailgate. Wasn't a pretty sight for that sap, got the crap kicked out of him and got doused with cups of piss.
All that said, I would never personally do anything like that. You like who you like. Good natured ribbing is fine.
One year, I went to a playoff game between Tampa and Philly (no ... not that one ... ugh) and every time two Tampa fans got up to get a beer or what-not, they just got booed and called names. To me, that's funny and ok.My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

It should never get to the point where you have to hide who you root for when you go to a stadium.
That people try to rationalize that with "Oh, if you don't want trouble, don't wear a jersey" is ludicrous and a great example of how far society has fallen.

There will be violent drunks at every NFL game. There's no getting around that.
I am not condoning what they do, but they do.
If I went to see an Eagles-Cowboys game at your stadium, I would wear neutral colours (and do a Texas barbecue joint tour).
Why take an unnecessary risk?My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

No, it's not. It's common sense.

The occasional heckler, maybe. But there'd be near zero chance of having bodily harm done to you if you wore an Eagles jersey.

I even got heckled in Vegas wearing my McNabb jersey (but I also got a few high-fives, so it all worked out).My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

I would say alcohol plays a big part in these instances, but as far as I know, the liquor sales in Cowboys Stadium follow the same rules as the rest of the league.

LOL snowballs. Philly fans have a hell of a reputation amongst you Americans but honestly they should try throwing snowballs at some serious soccer fans and see what comes back at them. Flares if they are lucky.
Those two 49ers fans need to start a gang for the next time Philly and SF go to war and just have it out at the tailgate. Much better.Comment

Yeah, this isn't excusable, and is very rude, but like people have been saying. It happens in every stadium in the NFL, there will be drunk fans who will not like who your represent and will let you hear it. When I was at the Jags/Jets game this year, I wore a Jaguars jersey, and I was cheering after Quentin Groves interceptions, and three drunk idiots yelled "SIT THE FUCK DOWN BEFORE WE KICK YOUR ASS, FAGGOT!" and luckily there were sober fans who defended me. Don't even say there aren't Cowboy fans who don't do anything with Eagles fans, I have a lot of friends who have went there and were heckled non stop. It happens in every stadium, drunk idiots are everywhere.Comment

You want to see fan fight? Go to a Michigan vs Michigan State Hockey game. You will never see more fights in your life. Hell, even the announcers get into it. I went 2 years ago with my dad, uncle, and cousin. The goalie missed an easy save, all the sudden over the loudspeakers you hear a telephone ring then the announcer..
"hello? yes ma'am, will do ma'am, i will, take care."
"Hey number 43, yo momma just called, she wanted me to tell you *entire stadium fans and all at once* YOU SUCK!"
Laughed my ass off for about 30 minutes after that oneComment
