I will say that while I am curious, I suspect society -in this case sports fans- are not. I'll hazard to guess that athletes that can't play due to a non-impact caused headache are looked down upon by most people and even coaches.

Probably . Minny were probably worried that it was a consussion based thing more than anything . I bet they are breathing a sigh of releif that it's only normal migraines .

It helps migraines too. It just masks the symptoms while you're high. As soon as you come back down the pain is just as intense.

I used to get migraines really bad and I do have some "remedies".

Take powdered asprin and put it in a twelve oz coke can and drink it. The caffeine and asprin help kill the migraine. If you don't have powdered asprin go into the bathroom, hopefully there aren't any windows and turn the lights out. Then run the bath with as hot of water as possible and put your feet in the water. Let it run right past your ankles and stop the water. Sit on the side of the tub for about 15 minutes in pitch black and your migraine should go away.

Most of the time both of these work.
