Jackson is 15th in the AFC in receptions, 6th in yards, and 5th in touchdowns. And you think he should be one of four receivers honored, when he can't even get into the top four of any major receiving categories? lol.
If you actually watch the games you would see some of the spectacular catches he has made. He is a big play wide receiver. That statement is a bit biased but he did deserve some recognition. Larry Fitzgerald for example was 16th in yards, 6th in receptions, and tied for 2nd in TD's. Sidney Rice was 6th in yards, 16th in receptions, and 25th in TD's.

Sidney Rice deserves to make the pro bowl over Vincent Jackson just because he made a couple of very impressive catches? So has Vincent Jackson and Vincent Jackson has put up better stats than him. Larry Fitzgerald on the other hand had better stats this season but didn't really make any big plays. So Vincent Jackson had decent stats plus he made a few key plays this season but Sidney Rice and Larry Fitzgerald make the Pro Bowl over him? Larry Fitzgerald pretty much made the Pro Bowl because of what he did last season and Sidney Rice only made it because those couple of well recognized catches he made this season.

So now we're comparing apples and oranges...do you want Vincent Jackson to play for the NFC squad in the pro bowl?

Yeah I'm a little out of it right now. I meant to compare him to AFC pro bowl WR's. The AFC is even worse, most of them just put up the stats to deserve a pro bowl appearance. Vincent Jackson as said before made many key catches this season.

In just the AFC, Vincent Jackson is 15th in receptions, 6th in yards, 5th in TDs, and 6th in yards per game.

In those same categories, the guys who made the pro bowl roster are:
            Wayne-t-3rd(95), t-3rd(1,243), t-2nd(10), t-3rd(83)
            Welker-1st(122), 2nd(1,336), 22(4), 1st(103)
            Johnson-t-3rd(95), 1st(1,504), t-5th(9), 2nd(100)
            Marshall-2nd(101), 8th(1,120), t-2nd(10), 8th(75)
Vincent Jackson doesn't make a very good argument to be in the pro bowl over any of the guys who made it. At least not statistically.

All well-deserved from the Packers side.
