    NFL Mock Picks 17-32

I don't see the Seahawks drafting Jahvid Best with their 21st pick since they have julius Jones and Justin Forsett to back him up.

I see you chose DT for the Colts (not sure why you chose Austin though)

Every mock has us taking a DT or LT which is our positions of need but with Polian you never know . He will take BPA no matter what

No Jared Odrick in the first round? Did you see Marvin Austin's production the last couple years? Or even watch him in the Meineke Car Bowl? Odrick's talent is far superior to Marvin's, and Odrick can be either a 4-3 DT or a 3-4 end.

The Jets take the Alabama DT? What about Kris Jenkins, despite the injury he just signed a big deal to come to New York. Doubt they'd cut him.

Fwiw, I have the Jets taking Jared Odrick.

Also, Ryan and Cody in New York=a lot of buffets going out of business.

Yeah every mock for seemingly the past 5 years has had Indy taking some DT in the first and it never really happens. The Colts have lined up Eric Foster at that spot who's only 6-2 265. Polian just doesn't care about drafting a premier DT.

"'Big' isn't the answer, 'Good' is the answer. It's foolish to think that size alone has anything to do with it." - Polian on DT's

Speaking of this, Muir has actually performed quite well this year . Foster should be nothing more than a 3rd down pass rusher up the middle though and has Fili Moala (sp) even seen the feild yet? I guess he wasn't using his "drafting good" theory when he chose him

Have you watched Julius Jones play.... ever?

Then there is this to comment on..

After addressing the Tackle situation with their first pick, the Seahawks will look to get faster. While Best isn’t the biggest guy, he may just be the fastest player in the Draft. He will be a great compliment to Julius Jones’s semi-bruising style. He can take it to the house from anywhere on the field and gives the Seahawks a legitimate threat to make defense’s think about.
The only way Best would truly compliment Julius Jones.. would be to say ..

"Thanks for being such a piece of shit I can start from day one and do next to nothing and still be better than you.."

Make no doubt about it.. if the new front office wants to draft a RB .. Julius Jones is as good as gone. He's one of the worst running backs in the game at this point.. I wouldn't even rank him ahead of a lot of 3rd string guys.

Moala has seen playing time this year but from what I hear his progress and development hasn't exactly been what people had hoped it would be.

Truthfully, I think we're okay at the Defensive Tackle position right now, and I don't think it's really or first area of need, right now I think we need to consider picking up a linebacker or an offensive lineman first before we even pick up a DT.

then again, what do I know anyway, about a year ago I shit on everyone who said we'd take a running back in the first round.

I knew he had saw the feild for a little but it was kind of a joke to point out just how bad he's been thus far ;)

We could do with drafting a Left Tackle . Ugoh is basically a bust at this point and Johnson is not the future answer (despite being solid right now)

At least a positive is they didn't teach me to say stupid things about people I don't know.

                              ladies, ladies.

Like i said in the comments, i don't see the Patriots taking Spikes. He's pretty undisciplined and overrated IMO anyways. We don't need a ILB as long as we resign Guyton. I won't even begin to say the Patriots will draft OLB, because we hope for this every year yet it never happens.
