I think wideouts in McDaniels' system are a dime a dozen. Sure Marshall set the NFL receptions record but Gaffney had almost as good of a game going against what I would consider to be a better secondary and he wasn't just getting his catches off WR Screen cheese like Marshall did most of the year.
If Bryant wasn't there I would have taken Spiller, Bulaga or Iupati. :eviltongue:

I can't believe he hasn't been taken yet.

I just couldn't justify taking an offensive lineman that high who won't play LT for us.

Remember the only people you can't pick are people who have said they are returning to school. If they have stayed quiet they are still up for grabs.

Also, Bruce Campbell isn't a great LT prospect. He's probably more of a RT in the pros like Langston Walker

Good thing, because he won't be playing left tackle. Joe Staley is at that position, but we need a right tackle.

          Our top three needs IMO:

          Right tackle
Defensive end (to play opposite Justin Smith)
          Secondary help

I don't really understand why people throw out this "No LTs in the top ten" rule. You wouldn't draft the next Larry Allen in the top ten? I'd take him first overall without hesitation. Dermonti Dawson? Hell, I'd take Kevin Gogan in the middle of the first.

The only reason not to, imho, is that a lot of good linemen slip to the later rounds, but if someone's a sure enough thing, I see absolutely not problem taking a guard or tackle in the early goings... even a center if he's got the skillset to make it worth it (center is like Catcher in baseball... you're going to focus almost entirely on a few aspects of the position, but if you could get Eric Heitmann's brain in Larry Allen's body, you wouldn't pass that up).

LTs are definitely worthy of a top-10 pick. Now a RT or any other lineman, I'd say no way.

He's in disbelief the Steelers are picking this early and refuses to acknowledge it.

Jesus Christ, this is the slowest Mock Draft ever....

What is the average pick time? 24-Hours = 1 pick

3 more picks and Ravens are up and I'm thinking at this rate I got till about Sunday.
