      The only time the Rooney Rule actually works is when all the coaches being looked at aren't big marquee names. When a team has someone they've fallen for, ala Cowher, Gruden, Shanahan, or any other big name coach, they'll basically get the token interview to bypass the rule.

      Hell, Carroll already has his contract, and the Seahawks are about to go to Craigslist just to find a black guy to interview.

      BTW, I wouldn't use the Raiders as a team as an example of being a team that does the token black interview. Seeing as they were the first team to have a minority coach, and the first team to have a black coach.
