Bowman got his degree, so I knew he would leave.

Royster returning is huge for Penn State, because a great running game will help ease Kevin Newsome/Paul Jones/Robert Bolden into the starting quarterback role next season. Behind Evan is Stephon Green, and although he's electrifying with 4.3 40 speed, he's not durable enough IMO.

USC RB Joe McKnight has declared for the draft

USC RB Joe McKnight will forgo his senior year with the Trojans and enter the 2010 NFL Draft.
McKnight, listed pretty generously at 6'0/190, wrapped up his true junior year with 1,014 yards rushing on 164 carries (6.2 YPC), and eight rushing touchdowns. His calling cards are his explosiveness and versatility. McKnight never caught fewer than 21 passes in a college season. The 21-year-old also offers upside as a return specialist and could flirt with first-round draft status if he runs 4.4 or better in February, which is likely.

I really like Joe McKnight. I don't think he's more than a 2nd round pick but he has a shot at being a solid player at the next level.

I don't think he'll bust because nobody is going to put the insanely lofty expectations on him that they placed on Reggie Bush. Instead, look for him to have a rookie season comparable to Lesean McCoy

Good. Talented WR, but it is hard to stand out when your team only throws the ball 5 times a game.

Thomas is going to require more coaching than any of the other underclassmen WRs because he has never had to run anything other than a fly route. Factor in the doubts about his ability to make catches in traffic and he could be the biggest WR bust in the draft

@ McKnight and Damian Williams declaring...those two could use 1 more season. Guess Oregon winning the Pac 10 was the start of USC's downfall.

On the same day that South Florida lost their head coach -- OK, not so much "lost" as "fired" -- the Bulls also lost a second underclassman to the NFL draft to boot.
