This is a great hire by the Skins.

Shanny's offense and coaching will really help Campbell and the Skins OL, especially since it looks like the Redskins have Clinton Portis and 2 decent backs in Ganther and Cartwright to go along with a great blocking fullback in Sellers.

It's not going to change anything. The Redskins went this route before with Marty Schottenheimer, and Snyder got rid of him when they were starting to do well because he (Snyder) wanted to be the guy making football decisions. I will believe Snyder will stay out of the football operation when I see it.

Shanny isn't a coaching god either...I mean, he's a good coach and much better than Zorn, but what exactly has he won without John Elway? The talent level on the Redskins is really so far below the rest of the NFC East that they are at least 2-3 years away from competing. Will Snyder have that much patience?
