I'm sorry.. I don't see how DMc choked the Super Bowl away, IMO.. the Patriots were the best team that night and they proved it... a botched 4th quarter drive in terms of the clock didn't make nearly the amount of difference as people say it did.
sorry down 10 with plenty of time for a score and a onside kick...I don't care, but if my QB doesn't see the importance of the game that he is just strolling like he's taking a sunday walk there is something wrong. That's where superstar QB's are made for isn't it? Did montana and Elway say you know i'm at the 98 yrd line with a minute+ left and just say this is going to be to hard why even try? they got the ball with nearly 6 minutes left down by 10 how is that not enough time for 2 scores. IF you actually act like this is the biggest game of your career and not week 7 maybe just maybe you get the ball back with more time for the 2nd score..

I agree, but I also agree with PS. I dont know if I'd be willing to give up what they would probably ask

mcnasty is out of there, i have said this all year. the 9ers are a perfect fit for him and they have the draft picks to trade for him.

I really hope McNabb gets out of Philly and wins a Super Bowl in another teams uniform. I can't remember a player taking more shit he doesn't deserve in my lifetime.

I think that the Eagles are in the same situation than the Packers quite a few years ago IIRC.

They had Favre who could still give a few years and Hasselbeck was rotting on the bench. He was a back-up that had learned it all behind a good QB and could be a starter for some teams, so they traded him and went for another rookie to develop for the day that Favre would quit. Am I right?

Now Kolb has shown that he has developped in a decent QB, he learned the position behind McNabb for a few years and he could be a starter at some places (SF, STL, CLE, OAK, JAX, BUF...). They could get good stuff if they ship him away.

McNabb can still give a few years if he gets his extension and they could draft another rookie QB later on and still have 2 years to develop him.

Minnesota is still a possibility... Favre needs to bounce And I think the fans would love McNabb there. He needs to get out of Philly, the fanbase has been driving me away from routing for the team too long, I can't imagine how McNabb feels with the undeserved criticism he's been taking for years.

Aren't they always looking to trade McNabb, then don't? I'll believe it when it happens...

Kolb, while mediocre at best, is not capable of even playing on the same field as McNabb any given Sunday.

I doubt it happens, and as jaggy said, this shit comes up every year, and it never happens.

Trade or not, don't they have to give him an extension if they intend on keeping him?

It doesn't matter, he'd still demand an extention imo. Players in there final years (especially QBs) always want to get locked up and ensure there future.

Anyhow, iv'e been always so up and down on this. Trust me when I say it, Kevin Kolb is not trash. You guys say the 25th ranked defense of the Saints.. Try a top 5, argueably top #1 pass defense in the league in week #2 when they still had Jabari Greer making plays in that secondary, a top 10 CB this year very easily.

Kevin Kolb is by no means a great quarterback, but I certaintly think he is a suitable starter, such as a Kyle Orton with abit more potential then him in my opinion.

I'm just tired of seeing the same old story every year, and it's never all of McNabbs fault like most fans portray it to be, but to say it's none of it or only some is an understatement. You have to put a good deal of blame into him. He isn't a choker by any means, but he definitely underachieves in pressure situations, and that's accompanied by many reasons but his accuracy is just so inconsistant and that's a big part of it.

If we did trade McNabb however i'd demand alot. It would start with a 1st rounder and then either another pick or another good/young player.
