Toby Gerhart to enter the Draft

    A 3rd Rounder at best.

I'll care(and so will the NFL) when there's a thread titled "Toby Gerhart to Undergo Controversial Skin Darkening Procedure"

No... he lacks great speed and doesn't really have a second gear. He does have nose for the endzone but he is basically a fast FB.

Can't really say I'm surprised. I'm not sure he'd be able to greatly increase his stock with another season at Stanford, and he's either already graduated or is pretty close to getting his degree.

How fast was Emmitt Smith? Gerhart is a great RB, he has plenty of speed. Stop with the "fast FB" nonsense, please.

Gerhart was a great college HB. So was Rashaan Salaam. Impossible to predict how he will fair in the pro game.

He reminds me a lot of Brian Leonard at Rutgers.

And please don't ever compare Gerhart to Emmitt Smith again.

^Probably. They always have a grip of decent runningbacks. Now they'll actually have a good one. He looks like Csonka when I see him. I think he's fucking great, but I don't think another year could've hurt him, either. I thought he was a senior, though... But now I guess I know better.

I know that it's law to compare white players to other white players, but I really do see Rudi Johnson in him.

Haha. He just reminds me of Csonka. I've never really seen anything from Rudi...

If Brandon Jacobs could learn to be rb in the NFL, this dude has a great chance at being successful.
