WRs and DBs don't do a lot huh?

The top WRs such as Andre Johnson terrify defences for every play, you think the defence ever thinks a guy like Johnson probably won't do anything on any specific play?

Troy Polamalu when fully healthy is the best football player in the world. Steelers D without him ... evidence.

Even if Andre Johnson is amazing, he's touching the ball for less than 25% of the teams total snaps most games. Seems like a lot to give up

Yes he barely touches the ball but he makes the Defense completely change their gameplan.

Maybe you want to build a team that's heavy Offense and you pick 4 Offensive and 1 Defensive player or Vise Versa.

The "Top 5 Players" threads are retarded cause the same 2, 3, and maybe even 4 players are gonna be on everyone's list. It's gonna be like a broken record over and over again.

This way you get more diverse answers and everyone has a different way of picking their 5. Maybe someone want 2 WR's maybe someone wants 2 D-linemen. Hell someone just made a pick of 5 linemen which you'd never see in a "top 5 players" thread

This also may be a tough concept to grasp but there's no rule saying you have to post in every thread. I generally like to stay away from threads that I think are "retarded" but to each his own....
Kind of how we've seen AP, Peyton Manning, and Andre Johnson on a majority of the lists in this thread?

So with all these O and D linemen (and I agree they're very important) ... how many times do they move the ball 40 yards up field in one play?

In this hypothetical world where I get to choose five players to build my team around I'm taking impact players (and Ryan Clady) but of course I don't expect my hypothetical team would do much better than the Raiders or Lions if I wasn't able to select some more very good players for other positions.

Aaron Rodgers scares the shit out of me in the NFC.

Green Bay is my early pick for the SB... and we all know how my Dallas pick worked out this year.
