Going to be a huge game. I hope the media declares the Saints the "hottest team in football" next week.

this game is all up to the Minn. defense. They better figure out what they need to do this week and break the rythm of the Saints passing game.

I would like to see the Vikings win just because of Brett Favre. I like both teams but I think I like the Vikings more. I think the Saints will win because of their high powered offense and their ability to put up points with ease even though I want the Vikings to win.

The Saints claim that they have God on their side and Brett Favre is a man on a mission. This will be a great game IF both team show up.

The gods have smiled upon this Favre fan. I have tickets for the game and was able to use hotel points for the room. Two nights of partying in Nawlin's and hopefully getting to see Favre off to the Superbowl. If not, at least I will have got to see what could be his last game and it's hard for me to cheer against the Saints since they were the local team growing up. Either way, it will be an awesome game.

I feel like the beat down/rout/bitch slapping or whatever you want to call it of the Cowboys, especially with them being the "hottest team in the league" on Sunday exercised a lot of demons for him in his career and even if they lose this weekend, the season was a success. Cowboys fans will never be able to rattle off about him never beating them in the playoffs for fear of this past Sunday's game being brought to their attention...and you can't put a price tag on that :D

This is a really tough game for me to call.

I think the Vikings have the better defense of the two, but I think home field advantage really gives the Saints defense such a big advantage that they may actually be the better defense in this game.

                        if that makes sense.

i'll have to sleep on this one till sunday.

Interesting thing I had read on another forum. Take for what you will.

I think the most "under the radar" fact about jared allen is that he feeds off of the crowd for his jump.

He has 14.5 sacks this year.

9.5 at home/5 on the road

7.5 of his 14.5 came against Green Bay in which starting LT Chad Clifton sat out both!

more than half of his sacks came against 1 backup tackle who has 7 career starts.

60% of his road sacks came against that same LT.

With Drew being able to use his hard counts and cadences in his HOME stadium. Allen can't get the half second jump he can at home. I'm not worried.

while sacks are nice i'll take hurried throws all day long, and even if he doesn't get a sack he changes how your offense will be run by having two tight ends or a rb to help block.

if he finishes with 0 sacks he'll still be causing some disruption in one way or another.
