Brady plans to be back for opener

Tom Brady reportedly expects to be recovered for this season's opener.

He is dropping back and throwing passes so pretty good news for patriot fans and bad news for all them patriot haters.

I thought it was jsut another one of those speclations but since they said he was dropping back, throwing, and running it makes me believe it a lot more than the other speculations where they didnt say anthing

He wont be the 07 Tom Brady but he will be more than efficient. As for Carson Palmer. He has been plagued with other problems not from his knee injury as his first season back form the injury he had a very good year. 4035 yards, 28 TD's 13 ints and he came back within a couple months

every sports injury is different. Some people can recover faster than others. I recently had surgery on my knee and my doctor said I wouldnt have full function of my knee for a couple months but I was walking within a week without any pain. So what I am saying is that we wont know how much it will affect him until he plays. Look at Philip Rivers. I believe he had a tear in one of his ligaments but he didnt seem to miss a beat this year

like steeljake said. why are we still comparing Palmers elbow injury to Brady's knee injury? Palmer was not affected by his knee injury at all really. He had a great season when he came back from his injury

Well brady has a full year to recover which is what you need so i think he'll be fine and even if he isn't it won't matter because matt cassel will probably be franchised.

being in the middle of the pack defensively while being ranked last in almost every offensive category is amazing.

I think they have some bad offensive coaches. I think they should've signed Rob Chudzinski to be their offensive coordinator but unluckily for them he's gone to San Diego to be a tight ends coach / Assaistant Head Coach.

Getting Mike Zimmer was very smart though and that really helped out their defense.

yes Matt Cassel has officially been given the Franchise tag.
No i do not think Tom Brady will miss any time.
Yes i really think this thread went south when Carson Palmer and Tom Brady were compared injury wise.
