You just can't help yourself, can you?

Out of curiosity, who are you rooting for next season?

I'm not complaining about this. More power to them if they want to run it up. Like I keep saying, we'll see them next year.

Romo wasn't chucking for the end zone on 4th down.

        Fail.
I wasn’t really referring to you, which is why I said, “some Cowboys fans”. I work with a Cowboys fan (don't we all?) who is still talking about this. LOL, at looking forward to next year’s regular season matchup as if beating them in the regular season evens the score of losing in the playoffs……you guys better hope Favre retires and your offensive line shows up in that matchup.

          The latter, definitely.

The former not so much. Hope the Vikes are eliminated so he has reason to come back next year. Brooking gets a chance for "redemption", even though he made himself look like a bitch in the process.

The Cowboys if they sign Brett Favre but most likely back to pulling for the Saints and Packers in that order if and when he does finally retire.

I have been waiting 16 years for Favre to beat the Cowboys in a playoff game so cut me a little slack..lol

Ah, so you and Favre have something in common.

              Makes sense now.

Shame because all this nonsense has done is overshadow what a great game he played on Sunday.

wasn't this the same guy who touted that no linemen will ever catch him from behind, and then the following weekend got an interception and then tackled from behind by a linemen?

Doesn't surprise me, Brooking is so slow, he's STILL trying to catch up to Jeremy Urban (or whichever slow white Arizona Cardinal tight end it was) after biting on a game deciding 3rd-and-17 play-action last January.

I maintain that class teams, in the NFL or otherwise, do not force their opponents to risk injury and careers defending meaningless touchdowns. If Shiancoe had come down hard on the ball and broke a rib diving for that TD, Vikings fans would be calling for Childress' head.

It was stupid, classless, and childish, period. Gregg Easterbrook would say the Vikings have angered the football Gods and will get theirs.

That said, Brookings' needs to shut his damn mouth and take responsibility for the ass whooping he and his team took rather than concentrating on that. Grow up.

A Cowboys spokesman reported that Brooking was much calmer after having a juicebox and a nap on the plane ride home.

Been saying he's slow all year.

Love the intensity, but there's a reason he comes out on passing downs.

4th and 2. Ball on the Eagles 35 yard line, up 24-0 with 2:20 left to play. Romo drops back to pass? Seems fairly similar.
Yep, with the exception that the Eagles defenders kept playing and Romo had to take a sack.

They were going for a short pass for a first down so they could run out the clock.

Did you miss when they punted from the Eagles' 30 yardline the next week?

No, because that would inconvenience the weak argument that Dallas "had it coming".
