The fact that the people defending him were both in front and behind him make it very easy for me to criticize the police here. This means that whatever happened, one of the people defending the man would have seen it... yet they were still sticking up for him. It isnt like the only ones who were defending him were in front and wouldnt have seen if he did something that was deemed 'arrest worthy'.
I realize the video was cut, but like many others are saying, we are going off of what we saw. What we saw was Chargers fans, who probably didnt like this guy being there to begin with, supporting his cause. The fans who were supporting him would have seen what happened, and if they thought he deserved to get arrested, dont you think they would be cheering about the police coming?
I just dont think people should sit here and stand up for the police just because a part of the video was cut. The fact that the opposing fans are supporting the JETS fan should be proof enough.
Oh yeah, and if this went to court, there is no way in hell the charges would stick. If anything, based on this evidence, the JETS fan has every right to sue.
