No, he didn't deserve it either time. I've never seen someone make the Pro Bowl at QB after only starting half the season. And he threw more interceptions than touchdowns his rookie year - not exactly Pro Bowl caliber. That being said, I'm still going to tune in to watch him play one last time this season.
Two different Pro Bowl quarterbacks the last two years...which team can claim that?
Vince Young played much better this year than his previous seasons but are you really trying to tell me a qb with 10 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, and 1879 passing yards deserves a spot on the pro bowl roster? He had 281 yards rushing. David Garrard and Aaron Rodgers put up better rushing numbers this than him so its not even like we can say he was the best running threat either.
I just thought it was an interesting development. I don't think he's the best quarterback, but he seems to win when he plays, and I like that. And I like that he's developed as a passer and I like that he's a solid runner. And, because of him, I might watch the Pro Bowl.Comment

Schaub already got in, Romo is in the NFC, Big Ben declined. It was probably between Flacco (woulda skipped cause of injuries), Orton, Garrard, and Young. The NFL probably figured that fans would rather see Young over Garrard or Orton.Comment

Romo will get in, as Will Mcnabb, if Brees goes to the super bowl because Favre always drops from the Pro Bowl. Not sure what Brees will do if Favre goes to the Super Bowl though. None the less Mcnabb is definitely going, if he wants to.Comment
