This happens every year, some mayor does something to draw attention while the team is winning. Last year Pittsburgh's mayor changed his last name from 'Ravenstahl' to 'Steelerstahl' temporarily just before the Steelers bumped the Ravens out of the playoffs. Although Revis Island is far far far more impressive than a simple name change. It's still a city Mayor doing something again to draw more attentions to themselves.

Because Revis is clearly the better covering cornerback. Woodson has more interceptions, more interceptions taken to the house and is overall the more exciting player. He deserved DPOY because he had a great season but you're a moron if you think he can stay with the best receivers like Revis can on a consistent basis. (I had Woodson on my All Pro team FYI)
