Anyone saying that the Jets do not belong in the playoffs obviously do not watch football.

I get it, the Colts laid down for the Jets. But you know what? The Bengals DID NOT! They tried the entire first half. The Jets absolutely creamed them.

Next game? Not as bad. But, the Jets still beat a team that was obviously good enough to make it to the playoffs.

Divisonal round? They beat the Chargers! They shut down LT and his Electric Slide and put tons of pressure on Rivers forcing 2 errant throws (one was a lucky INT but still).

If my New York Jets win tomorrow, will I be surprised? Sure. But not as much as some people would probably think I should be.

Revis made a couple great plays in the SD game, but it wasnt like SD's top receivers didnt get theirs. Jackson had 7 catches for 111 yards and Gates had 8 for 93.. Revis was shadowing both those guys a lot during the game. That really isnt the point tho.. cockiness is cool when you have rings to back it up.. not when you back into the playoffs..

In my opinion.. pretty much getting handed your last 2 games is backing in. You guys can act like the Bengals really wanted to win that game all you want.. in reality they likely wanted the Jets in there, which was obviously unwise on their part.. but that was not a full effort to win the game. Plus, without the Indy handing you guys are out all together anyways. Even the coach thought yall were done.. it is what it is.

I give the Jets credit for beating Cincy.. I give them credit for doing enough to beat a Chargers team who did even more to beat themself.. but the cockiness is foolish. The Coach went from an enthusiastic likeable guy to a douche bag in no time between saying his team was out to pretty much declaring them SB champions. Confidence is cool, cockiness can be cool too, IF you're a proven winner. Some things dont need to be said.. keep your mouth shut, and do it on the field. Pretty simple.

So would you rather be good and sitting at home or lucky and in the AFC championship game? The Jets got lucky with the end of their schedule to get into the playoffs, but their here and they only got to win more game to get into the Superbowl. Maybe Manning is off his game, Sanchez does work, they could be in the Superbowl with a bit of luck and everyone would be pissed.
