ok, no more GOAT talk for ...

Adrian peterson. 3 fumbles in the NFC Championship game would get most running backs a spot on the bench, practice squad or cut. But since everyone is so enamoured with his big play ability he probably wont get any of those things. big play ability is great, but you need to have the ball in your habds for all of the 65 yards for it to count.

Fumblitis is treatable. Not sure if a cure has been developed, though.

Yes, while Adrian Peterson has a long history of being a lockeroom cancer who refuses to listen to coaches and is a media whore throwing everyone around him under the bus.

        wait... that sounds like Tiki.

I doubt it's Peterson refusing to take his advice rather Peterson in the heat of the moment reverting to how he's probably held the ball since he was 8 years old.

Look how long it took Holmgren to fully tame Favre - to fully rework the most fundamental part of your game takes more then 6 months, especially for a running back where how you hold the ball is something you do sub-conciously without thinking.

e have all seen how the players feel about Childress...After how brett has talked down to him during games I think it will be hard for him to get the respect of the players to actually listen to him going forward esp if brett stays...

FYI hes lost as many fumbles in 3 years as Emmitt or Barry did there first 6.

Hes eerily similar to Dickerson. Has put up some gaudy numbers but dissapears when hes asked to do alot and fumbles at a ridiculous rate.

Most RBs cut there fumbles down after there rookie year. Peterson somehow seems worse.

At the end of the day this thread is weird because noones called hom GOAT .....at all.
Best reason to have a license.
