That's my point. He needs to do a seminar to show these guys how to get success... AND THEN they brag about it.

Leinart did/does MMA training? Wonder if he's trained more in that then he's played NFL games.

I knew of Willis and Allen (Allen is good friends with Jay Glazer)...also knew of Calvin Pace who wanted to work with Randy Couture/Xtreme Couture while he was suspended at the beginning of the season.

I'm sure there's more guys like that.

The official source for NFL news, video highlights, fantasy football, game-day coverage, schedules, stats, scores and more.

"Jets coach Rex Ryan issued a statement Sunday, apologizing for “stupid and inappropriate” behavior after a photo of him making an obscene gesture toward Dolphins fans surfaced on the Internet.

“I wouldn’t accept that type of behavior from one of the coaches or players, and it’s unacceptable from me,” Ryan said of the incident, which reportedly occurred Saturday night at a mixed martial-arts event in Miami. “I apologize to the Jets organization, the National Football League and NFL fans everywhere.”

Said Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum: “Rex showed extremely poor judgment and his conduct was inappropriate. He knows he was wrong, has apologized, and we have accepted his apology. Any other actions regarding this incident will be addressed internally by the organization.”"

I like Rex too, but his mouth is writing some phat checks. He better not get swept by the Fins next season.

As long as the team is winning it is all good. However, expectations will be there next year and given the fact that he's in NY they'll be heavy expectations, so it'll be itneresting to see how long he can keep this going.

Absolutely. The Jets went to the AFC championship this season. If they're able to get the pieces they need(edge pass rusher, secondary help, another WR), anything less than a return trip will be a big disappointment.
