Well...turns out the shit talking about Jerome Harrison can stop because Adam Schefter is reporting they found a brain tumor. Turns out this whole ordeal could have saved his life so I can't really bitch about that. My regards go to Harrison and his family though.

As Philadelphia Eagles doctors were giving newly acquired running back Jerome Harrison his physical, they discovered a brain tumor that nullified a trade with the Detroit Lions, according to two league sources.

The trade might have actually saved Harrison's life, the sources said. Without the deal being made, Harrison would not have undergone a physical. The tumor is now being treated, according to sources.

Harrison could not be reached for comment.

The Eagles would have sent running back Ronnie Brown to the Lions in exchange for Harrison and an undisclosed pick in the 2013 NFL draft. Brown arrived in Detroit but never got to practice Wednesday.

Harrison is not expected to play again this season, but his long-term prognosis both for life and his football career appear to be good, sources said. He is visiting with more doctors Thursday.

The voided trade has left the Lions with major issues at running back, after Jahvid Best suffered the third concussion of his career in last week's loss to San Francisco.

Well it's not like it's the first time Mo is starting for the Lions. Granted he's not the greatest HB, but he's a capable one and he definitely knows the offense. I'm pretty sure him and Keiland Williams will be sharing the load (Keiland especially in goal line situations). If Jahvid's health is still questionable come next weekend I fully expect Detroit to sign an established HB....who knows, we may give Tiki Barber a call...bahahaha.

lol that's why I added the laugh at the end. Also reading on mLive that Stefan Logan could receive more carries so I'm interested to see how that works. I know he usually gets a carry or two per game, but when he comes in an lines up at HB you know he's getting the ball. Maybe now when he's in it won't be an assumed automatic run.

They stood around for a good 30 seconds. Maybe that was the case, but it seemed like they were just standing around calling a play.
