NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell could attend any league game he wanted to see this weekend.
It seems like Goodell rather be at Ford Field than anywhere else.
Goodell announced he would attend the Detroit Lions' game against Minnesota via his Twitter account on Tuesday.
Here is what he wrote:
"Looking forward to talking w/ a group of @DetroitLions season ticket holders before this Sunday's game at Ford Field"
Goodell has met with season ticket holders throughout the NFL season. He also has been on conference calls with ticket holders this season, so this is nothing new.
Now if you are a conspiracy theorist, you may question the timing of Goodell's appearance in lieu of Detroit defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh's suspension and the Lions' penalty filled game against against New Orleans on national television earlier this week.
Regardless of what Goodell's motives are, Lions players will be watched by the commissioner on Sunday.

Maaaaaaan...why you gotta be lying? Just read on the Lions site today that they only had SPRAINED MCL's and that they could actually be back in time for the Raiders game.
Had me scared and shit.
We actually could be getting almost all our injured guys back this week with the exception of Kevin Smith (he'll probably need another week) & recently injured Aaron Berry (who the are hopeful they'll get back before the end of the season) so that's a good sign. I just hope they don't re-aggravate their injuries.

Valenti is awesome. Suh is a giant ass. Suh expects no to ask him tough questions and tries so hard to be this private guy. He shouldn't even bother giving interviews if he doesn't want to answer obvious questions. He had to know Valenti would come after him and do his job.Comment

I'm not defending Suh for what he did at all, because he was wrong. But if he doesn't want to talk about it, he doesn't need to. He addressed that very clear essentially within the first 2 minutes. Valenti could have just switched the subject but they didn't. Therefor, douchebag.

He's a journalist. His job is to ask questions people want to hear, not what Suh wants to answer. I was wondering how he'd handle this interview and I'm glad he didn't back down and stick to vanilla questions.Comment

I know he's a journalist, that's what I'm majoring in right now. But if I see I'm getting nowhere asking the same shit over and over again I'm not gonna waste my time with it.
