Parking valet says Cowboys' Anderson pulled gun on him

ADDISON, Texas (AP) -- Dallas Cowboys fullback Deon Anderson has been charged with misdemeanor deadly conduct after his arrest in a suburban restaurant parking lot.

A warrant issued Wednesday charged the 27-year-old Anderson for an incident early Tuesday at a restaurant in the Dallas suburb of Addison. He could be sentenced to up to a year in jail and fined up to $4,000.

He was freed on bond a few hours after his arrest early Tuesday.

The arrest affidavit says a parking valet claimed Anderson threatened him with a gun after having car problems and blaming the valet. Police found the loaded gun in nearby shrubs with a round chambered.

Anderson's 25-year-old brother, Devon, was also arrested for public intoxication.

A message left with the Cowboys on Wednesday hasn't been returned.

it is all a question of how they grew up. they are now out of the hood and in a place where violence is not accepted as a day to to day occurance and they cant handle it. the nfl has programs to try to help these young men adjust to a different lifestyle, but alot of them ignore the help.

Because at least that way the NFL player can control his own actions with the weapon.

One incident with a gun and you get a DA full of piss and vinegar where your body guard, who you ordered to carry a gun and protect you, pops off some shots and injures or kills someone while acting "at your behest" and you can be deemed as responsible or close to as responsible as the guy who pulled the trigger.

Carrying a gun either way IMO is retarded and you are inviting trouble either way but at least if you are personally carrying it the only person who can really get you into trouble with it is you.
