He was nothing more then a glorified goal line back this year anyway - wasn't even catching passes anymore.

One of the greatest ever. Oughta retire so he can get that golden jacket sooner... Unless he's tryna get more TDs... Surefire first-ballot HOF.

I'd like to see him in Chicago. Making him a 3rd down Back/guy to split time with Forte in Martz offense could be interesting.

New England signs him, to replace Fred Taylor who retires.

Ya, that's certainly likely with the NFL's eighth all-time NFL rusher, second in touchdowns, gone.

Sproles has proven he can't carry this team... So who are they drafting?

Worst kept secret in the NFL all season, way to make this out to be breaking news though.

Jonathan Dwyer would make the most sense IMO.

I'd take him to replace Julius Jones. Julius is THAT bad.

I think he wants to win a SB, I think he might take a backup role with a contender over a starting job in Seattle. I can see him going to NE or Indy.

Now officially the "Who replaces LDT in San Diego?" thread

Y'know who else would be good?

C.J. Spiller... Assuming he doesn't morph into Sproles (he was dark horse Heisman at KSU, see what's going on now?).

But Spiller was one of the most explosive players his four years at Clemson. Who else can y'all think of?

I don't think he would ever come to New England or that we would want him at this point in his career. He has always talked bad about Belichick and the Patriots and I just don't think he would play for us.

                            I also don't want his 3.3 YPC.

He hated his role in the offense this year, so I doubt he'd be happy to get a back-up role just to get a ring.
