Fassel had no control over that 2000 Giants team but if they are able to play a looser game on offense and they win, perhaps Payton leaves anyway but who knows whether his path would have changed.

If Tom friggin Cable and that guy Buffalo hired can get jobs, Fassel deserves a second go around.
