I live in Sacramento, CA...I watch niner games. He's very good. Very very good. If I was going to list any negatives it's his goaline ability, and Singletary knows it's a problem. That's why you see stupid shit like when he niners make it 1st and goal and you see three power dives with Michael fucking Robinson for no gain and a punt...and Gore is standing healthy and relaxed on the sideline.sigpicComment

4. Maurice Jones-Drew - This little cannon ball can do it all. He's a powder keg of sorts, deceptively strong, great explosive technique and low center of gravity at the line of scrimmage. He's impressive in the passing game, and scores in bunches. He plays larger than his 5-7 208 lbs frame, and he's been slowed down at times from minor injuries, but he's still worthy of nearly gaining 1,400 yards with another 500 receiving and 15 total touchdowns. I'd consider Rice over MJD if Rice were alone, but I think MJD could outscore him.

You know who's really underrated (besides Ryan Grant)? Jerome Harrison...
He's probably not top ten, but he gets no love for what he accomplishes. He filled-in for Jamal Lewis well. He had 862 yards last year. Five touchdowns. I'm expecting at least 1000 yards, probably between 8-13 TDs next year.
The Browns suck, so it's not like they have a lot of options... Who knows maybe Brady Quinn will come together next year... I doubt it, but it's possible.
Anyway, I like your list.Comment

Jones is a great back. I think he might even deserve top-ten status, but Greene was the man in the Super Bowl.Last edited by Fox1994; 02-10-2010, 03:02 PM.Comment

I doubt it. If TJ continues to play like he did in the Super Bowl, he's gonna get phased-out. They'll probably end-up running a pure committee sometime next year, and then Leon and Greene are gonna run ish.

That's not how I saw it. While I agree he's singled out and keyed, he's had several small leg injuries that have slowed him down. Deep thigh bruise in pre-season limited his production the first couple weeks. Week 9 he got a sprained knee and skidded for three weeks with average production. It was this period that I feel he slowed down. Slowed down does not mean missing games and zero production, slowed down just means he had multiple 75 yard games with very few scores. I've noticed he gets banged up a lot. You have to have seen him hobbling in games, I have. Which leads me to a point I didn't make in my OP, MJD has heart, a big bowling ball sized heart.sigpicComment

From a samiliar mold, who I actually think is very underrated is Jamaal Charles. His amazing play in the 2nd half of the season barely got any recognition, but this guy is right on the fringe of being a top flight RB and also one of the most dangerous players on the field of any game. Dude is a monster. KC waited WAY too long to let him loose.Last edited by Kuzzy Powers; 02-10-2010, 02:51 PM.Comment

I would be surprised to even see him on that roster at the onset of camp. Shanny's back is located somewhere between rounds 4-7 of this year's draft.Comment
