If he keeps his nose clean I think Matt could provide a huge lift to that offense. He's a bit of a fixer-upper but at least he'll be able to score a few times. Besides, the guy can cut on a dime and has a nose for the (goal) line.

He was so damn frustrating in Jacksonville. He has all the athletic ability in the world, well at least before he took this year off, but it wasn't his ability that gave us trouble, it was his work ethic and willingness to try. For periods of time during a game you could notice him not running his full speed, half assing his routes, and not looking back at the Quarterback. It just seemed like he never had the drive to put his ability together and become great. With all that said, maybe this year out of the league really lit a fire under him and now he will work as hard as he can to become a good receiver across from Chad. I really don't buy it, and I still think they should go after T.O, because with him, you know you have a proven commodity, who might be on the back end of his career, but can still give you good production, especially being the number two receiver in the system and not having all the attention on him. This move isn't much of a risk though, cause the deal isn't even 1 million dollars, so cutting him wouldn't be a big deal if he shows no effort and can't pull it together.

He Hate Me is Rod Smart. Rod Smart was an undrafted FA for the Chargers in 2000, and cut before the season started. I only remember him for two reasons. 1 I saw him interviewed before the one and only XFL game I ever watched, when he told the camera why he chose "He Hate Me" for his jersey, which was not a smart reason btw. The next reason I remember him was because I used to always pick him up as my second/third string RB in Madden back in the day. I can remember a couple times when he panned out and became a stud back for me in Franchise.

I looked it up, Smart played for the CFL, two years with Carolina, and was signed and cut by the Raiders before he played a game.
