Uh, I'm going to this game. I have to see this crap instead of Carolina's beautiful blue helmets? Epic fail.
Why do they have to go and ruin what was one gonna be one of the best aesthetic match ups in college football next year? Gross.Comment

The helmet looks nice, I wonder if they're going to have matching pants? But bitching about uniforms is kind of lame. It's something that excites the players when they get to wear something new or something that's very rare. At my high school, we always wanted to wear all black because we never really got to. But the one game of the year that we did, it was special.
Uniforms are for the players and can be a big deal. It shouldn't be a big deal for a fan though.Comment

As long as the uniforms look good, honestly I could care less how many different combinations a team wears throughout the season, and I know a lot of players feel this way as well.Comment

I'd say that playing dress up instead of focusing on playing football is a recipe for disaster.
UNC is gonna look like clowns as they get clownstomped by LSU.Comment

The jerseys don't have much to do with it IMO, its the players wearing them, and the guys coaching the players.Comment

Florida wasn't really a blackout game as it wasn't preset or anything. We just decided to wear black pants.

actually we are 2-1. 2-2 if you consider the Florida game a "blackout game"

The main thing it creates is the atmosphere. If anyone has watched a home blackout game (not Florida game. that was stupid to do at a neutral site) then the atmosphere is crazy and the players and crowd is pumped.
The Alabama and Auburn games were two of the loudest games in Sanford history. The only time I can remember it being as loud is the 2004 LSU game.Comment
