Impact UFA's; Where do they end up?

Terrell Owens - Cincinnati. We've all heard the rumors about Ocho recruiting TO to the Bengals, and it makes a lot of sense to me. The two are good friends and towards the end of the season it showed that the Bengals could use a legit threat opposite #85. I'm one of few who believes TO still has a lot left in the tank after a poor statistical year. I think some of that can be attributed to shitty QB play ala 2008 Chad Ochocinco.

Chad Pennington - St. Louis. The Rams would feel a lot better about not taking a QB #1 knowing they had Pennington. A pretty prototypical west coast Quarterback with great accuracy who could possibly do well behind such a bad line. Fuck Michael Vick, Pennington gives this team a way better shot at winning.

Julius Peppers - New England. Without Seymour the Patriots pass rush suffered. They've got the money, Peppers wants to leave Carolina, fits the scheme, open position, it works out. Could be the move that shoots the Patriots back to the top if the offense stays the same or improves. Some might advocate franchising Wilfork but I believe they can find an NT internally or through the draft. The explosiveness off the edge that Peppers is capable of bringing covers a multitude of sins.

Vince Wilfork - Miami. Since their season ended I've said the Dolphins need to upgrade the Defensive Line more than anything else, and they definitely do that with Wilfork. Can occupy multiple guys inside and give their young DE's an opportunity to shine. Even more important with the probable loss of Porter.

Darren Sharper - Dallas. If you've watched the Cowboys consistently, you'll know that Ken Hamlin is one of the worst safeties in the business. Sharper is a not only a vast improvement at the position, he's the exact type of player that Jerry Jones loves - explosive, and produces lots of big plays.

Karlos Dansby - New York Giants. Dansby already expressed interest in New York when asked where he'd like to play next season, and the move makes a lot of sense. I believe Dansby could play any of the three 4-3 linebacker positions and that kind of versatility and flexibility has got to be something the Giants are looking for after the departure of Antonio Pierce, leaving them with Michael Boley, Johnathan Goff, and Danny Clark. Underwhelming. Dansby would be a big addition.

Dansby - whoever decides to overpay him.

I don't want some Chad fucking Pennington.

You get a ''thanks'' for being original, though - This is the first, and hopefully last time I see/hear Pennington's name mentioned when it comes to the Rams.

I don't think Wilfork will go to Miami. Patriots will end up franchising him and I don't think Parcells would give multiple draft picks to a division rival.

Rough. He was the MVP runner up 2 seasons ago, doesn't seem like someone an organization in the position of the Rams would be snickering at.

Jules in NE? Huh....why? Hes been criticized for being soft, and now you want him to play in a more physical 3-4? No thanks

Saw on ESPN today that the Saints were planning on franchise tagging Darren Sharper.. If they did he would get paid over 6 million, a huge raise over last years 1 million dollars.

Why? Because he's an elite pass rusher and they need a lot of help in that department. He's wanted to play the 3-4 for years, and for all we know the switch could benefit him tremendously alà Elvis Dumervil.

We already have an aging Quarterback, with the arm strength of an 8 year old boy, Marc Bulger. Bringing in Chad Pennington isn't an upgrade. I'd rather keep Marc Bulger, sign Jon Kitna as back up, than to see Pennington come in as starter.

But the Rams are known for fucking me over, and bringing in the worst possible hack they can find, so you know, a Chad Pennington/Jason Campbell signing, is exactly something the Rams would do, to piss me off.

I see where you're coming from but Bulger isn't as good as Pennington at all (who many believe to have top 3 accuracy in the game), who in his last full season placed second in mvp voting. I would be wary if I were a Rams considering the similarities also but if the price is right I would definitely pull the trigger. Pennington's also got the leadership Bulger lacks to motivate the young and pretty talented receivers into possibly doing some good next season.

I'm kinda hoping the Jags can get in on the Peppers talks...Del Rio was DC in Carolina for Peppers' rookie year, so there's at least a bit of history there. Maybe he could actually show Harvey how to get to the QB too...

While part of me would love seeing Sharper's playmaking ability in Dallas, I want to go younger at the position, not older.

Our luck would be signing him and watching him break down in Week 6.
