I absolutely take issue with thinking Schaub is on the level of Manning at all.

I never backtracked on calling Schaub great. The fact that I said that is in proof, in my writing on page 1. We just have different definitions of the term. Like I would call Manning and Brees elite compared to Schaub's "great" who I believe will be able to repeat this kind of year as long as he stays healthy.

For the sake of arguing and discussion, yeah. Not all people post just to get thanks and more e-popular.

More than a time or two. Consistent great seasons=greatness. That's the entire idea behind being "great". A player isn't "great" because he has a "great" season. He's great when he can consistently repeat those results over the course of a career.

Marcus Robinson had a great season for the Bears in 1999.

Did that make him a great player?

No. It made him a player who had a great season.

        There's a HUGE difference.

It's amazing you can't see it.
"QB's who are not "great" can put up very good or great seasons."

Re-read it a couple times, you'll eventually get why that's an idiotic statement.

          He is not a scrub

          he's above average

Also you need to remember that peoples opinions of Great and Good are different. This is not a "Who's the #1 QB" thread where it's a dead given what people are saying.
There's no point of arguing over if someone is great or good. Your idea of good may be someone elses idea of great. It's a fucking opinion that's not gonna change.

            Actually it's not.

I gave you an example dipshit.

Chad Pennington had a "great" season in 2002. Did that make him a "great" player?

            No.

He was a good player who put together one hell of a season.

I would've posted fucking words, stats, something. Not a gif and a small statement.

                    *Raises hand*

It is BEYOND astounding that he can't grasp a simple concept like that.

Matt Forte had a great rookie season. Does that make him a great player?

                    No.

                        My point exactly.

Some people think it takes 1 Great season to be considered Great. Some think it takes many.

It's the most stupid thing to argue over.

That's like me calling a kid who runs a 4.6 slow but you think he's fast so where gonna argue for hours on whats considered fast and whats considered slow.

I can see an argument on "Who's better" because you're arguing over people.

But an argument on "whats Great and whats Good"? LMAO then you're arguing over a fucking adjective.

We're not even arguing on rather or not Schaub is good or bad. We're arguing about rather he's Great or Good.
Do you not realize how retarded that is.

So you have to see a guy repeat to be able to admit he's great. ALRIGHT. Then I guess we have differing opinions, worst thing in the world? No.

Calm the fuck down. The type of person who has a pathological need to groan every single post of the person he's arguing with as well as include as many insults as possible in each post is a person who obviously has no life. Maybe you'll control the 3 year old inside you next time.

                                Exactly, arguing is one thing.

But groaning and adding insults every 5 seconds is childish.
