Which team and player will be under the most pressure this year?

If you had to pick just 1:

    Teams:
    Vikings (if Favre comes back)
    Eagles
    Patriots
    Cowboys
    Chargers

    Players:
    Brett Favre
    Tom Brady
    Donovan McNabb
    Tony Romo
    Peyton Manning
    JaMarcus Russell

Feel free to add any other options that I may have forgotten.

As a team, I think the Cowboys are under the most pressure. They've finally overcome the late season problems they've been having, have many of their best players now in or entering their primes and will be looked upon to take the next step. Chargers are a close second because they're in a similar position.

That being said, I think McNabb is the player under the most pressure, unless he leaves Philly this offseason. I just feel that the December and January wins have taken a ton of pressure off Romo, plus it seems he's now taken control of that lockerroom.

Arizona and Leinart may be another one. Although, I'm not sure anyone has any faith in Leinart.

No one's expecting him to duplicate his 2K season, so he's not under a lot of pressure.

Staying with the team though, I'd have to say Vince Young. Fisher already named him the starter for next season and basically it's a make-or-break year to prove whether he can or can't become a franchise quarterback.

No mention of Drew Brees? Is he going to be able to repeat the success he had this year and keep the Saints at an elite level?

Yah, I would go with Brees and the Saints as well. Expectations will be high. Will they be able to live up to it and repeat.

I don't share the same sentiment.

Most teams get a 5 year grace period after winning a championship.

Brees has a God pass in New Orleans for life.
