Yeah I definitely agree. Brees will be worshipped until the year 2100.

I'll say the Cowboys/Chargers are under the most pressure as a team, and Tony Romo as an individual player.

Good point, but it's such a "what have ya done for me lately league", that I don't buy the 5 year grace period. He and the Saints will still need to play well, or that Grace period can become rather short.

And there is a always a LOT of pressure to repeat.

The Jags are under the most pressure to fill some damn seats. Wayne Weaver said he would never move the team but if we can't start selling out more games we will be forced to relocate.

Aaron Rodgers has a lot of pressure on him to win a playoff game. His job isn't in jeopardy or anything but to become the next great QB in Greenbay he is going to have to win a playoff game.

              Team:
Cowboys, like OOBL said, Jerry thinks they're the shit.
              Player:
Jamaal Anderson(DE, ATL), drafted him 8th overall in 2007 and he has completely busted it. If he don't do anything this season he is outta here.

                LOL

I list the top teams and players under pressure, ask people to pick 1 from each, and everyone proceeds to list players that are not on the list and clearly not under as much pressure as any of the guys I mentioned.

Some of the names you guys are throwing out there are ridiculous.

Leinart - nobody is expecting much.
                Jags - nobody cares.
Brees - he just won a super bowl.
                Cutler - he sucks.
Jets - Question for you - are you mentally retarded?
Texans - Not until Manning retires.
Matt Cassel - The Chiefs are a few years away from doing anything relevant and everyone knows this.
                Chris Johnson - Another retard.
Darrelle Revis - More retards on VSN.

It's clearly the Eagles and then the Cowboys, in my opinion. And obviously the Vikings should Favre return. Everyone else doesn't really even deserve to be in the discussion.

Some of you are dumb motherfuckers.

example of what just happened in this thread:

me: who is the best WR in the game?

                  a) randy moss
                  b) andre johnson
                  c) larry fitzgerald
                  d) reggie wayne
                  e) brandon marshall

                  dumbasses on VSN:

                  "colston is pretty good"

                  "boldin is a beast"

                  "no mention of wes welker???"

                  dumb mfers.

i can understand throwing a few names out there and into the discussion. but literally every single one of you except for a couple started throwing out all these garbage names.

Chargers and Eagles are under the most pressure as teams. One of them needs to go all the way.

i would say the cowboys. winning a playoff game last year was certainly a step in the right direction, but people are gonna quickly forget if the boys dont get far into the playoffs. cowboys are perennial nfc favorites but still cant get to the big one.

I must have missed where everyone picking you to go 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7 meant you were a perennial favorite.

wat? for the past few years every analyst has picked the cowboys to win the division or at least make it to the playoffs, and how many times pre-december have we heard cowboys are one of the favorites in the nfc? every year for the past few

                              Yeah, uh, no.

2009 NFL Preview: Playoff predictions - Sporting News staff - NFL - Sporting News

NFL: For the 2009 season, many of our experts contend that Tom Brady is your MVP and the New England Patriots are your next Super Bowl champions. - ESPN

Those are just two examples. I can pull up plenty more. Of all the "experts" in those two links, only Schefter, Wickersham, and Yasinskas picked the Cowboys to win the division, while Chadiha and Pasquerelli had them as Wild Cards.

Just about everyone else put the Giants and Eagles in the playoffs.
