as long as they are there, actually doing something and getting paid only for the hours they work (not like the OU thing), its not illegal... if the booster wants to pay them that much, its his prerogative, but athletes are only allowed to make so much money a year (it used to be $2500, but that was 5 years ago), so its kind of irrelevant...

thats what rhett bomar and the lineman guy did at OU, and that shit is real fucking illegal... but honestly, i doubt the NCAA gives a shit about DIII kids doing that... no offense to any DIII athletes, of course...
My point is, Oklahoma or my random D3 school wasn't/isn't the only place doing it.
point taken, but not every school does it either, there are still some "clean" programs out there... they suck at football, but they are out there...:ooops:
