DOMINIQUE FRANKS, CB, OKLAHOMA

With all-purpose players C.J. Spiller and Jahvid Best off the board, the 49ers turned to upgrading their secondary once again the second round. After contributing as a redshirt freshman (even starting the Fiesta Bowl) in 2007, Dominique Franks started every game for the Sooners the past two seasons. He earned first-team all-conference accolades in 2009 and second-team honors in 2008, picking off six passes and breaking up 15 others during those seasons. Franks also returns punts (17.0 per attempt in 2009) and the occasional kickoff (19.3), adding to the special teams acumen he displayed in his first season in Norman. His physical tools are obvious, causing some teams to consider taking the confident, physical corner in the late first round. In the end, he fell to the 49ers as a 2nd round bargain.

Everson Griffen | OLB | USC

Everson Griffen could be either a DE or OLB, but for the Chiefs we see him as the perfect rush linebacker to pair on the other side of Tamba Hali. We feel with this pick we have one of the more solid front 7's in the league and will be a force on defense. We were a team with only 22 sacks last year, so we feel Everson was a huge need for us.

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Tim Tebow based on the fact that these mother fuckers need to sell tickets. Tebow is a god in Florida and could possibly benefit from a lot of coaching and one day take over as QB. He may be put into some gimmicky offense.

The Chargers reach for the fastest WR, former 1st round pick Davis hasn't panned out, and with Sproles getting a bigger role now Ford can return kicks and provide a nice speed threat in the slot playing in between two big 6'5" Wideouts like Flloyd and Jackson.
