I didn't know that not knowing the playbook affected your ability to catch passes.

like Prodigal Son said, how does that catch is ability to get the damn ball?

Timing, how the ball is thrown, where the ball is thrown, comfortability.

"The Dropsies" gets thrown out the window when you drop wide open passes repeatedly through out your career.

The guy has the worst hands in the league.

None of this fixes his superhuman ability to drop passes.

Prime, Edwards failure to catch easy passes goes all the way back to his time at Michigan. When he was there he made catches that made you say "How in the hell did he catch that?" and then the next time he gets thrown the ball he drops an easy slant or out and you ask yourself "How the hell did he drop that ball?".

I'm pretty sure Edwards has had run-ins before, just nothing major. He was a headache in Cleveland from what i heard. Even if it wasn't off the field.

Listen, I know off-the-field issues can be a big deal, just look at Pittsburgh. If Big Ben has any charges filed, then there goes their starting quarterback, a HUGE loss. But having children doesn't coincide with having run-ins with the law. Also, I think having a wide receiver like Marshall will really help Sanchez progress.

We don't need him to be a 3rd and short go to guy WR. We have Cotch, who has a pair of the softest hands in the league. -pause-
Perhaps Edwards should have tried to improve his catching sometime in the previous 27 years.

edwards blocking has been superb since coming here

his hands are a WTF...he drops the sure pass, makes the tough one and other times, tries to make a crazy play on a ball and tips it to his defender...bleh.
