I'd love that draft for Seattle. Although I think if Clausen/Bradford are at 6.. that's the pick.

I think (at least, I hope) we take Brandon Graham instead of Dan Williams.

Disagree with us taking Okung. Jeff Backus isn't good but he isn't as bad as Lions fans make him out to be. I heard on the radio today he only allowed 1 sack in the like the last 6 games or something like that.

Defensive line is a more pressing need for us at the moment. If we can't stop the other team then it won't matter how good our offensive line is if Stafford has to play from behind. Thats a major problem I think. We get down and then Stafford takes it upon himself to take more risks to try and get us back in the game.

I would think after last years debacle with Indianapolis people would have realized that defensive tackle isn't exactly the pressing need right now.

hell, Polian just invested his second round pick last year in Moala, and even though that turned out to be kind of shitty, people are saying he needs time to develop, as it's hard for a DT to successfully contribute as a rookie.

BPA is Indy's deal, and I don't think Price is the BPA nor a legitimate need for Indianapolis. We got far enough with Muir and Johnson, so even if we were considering it by need DT doesn't top the list, right now we need defensive backs, we need to look at linebackers, and we probably will do something offensive line wise.

I guess DT is a possible, but IDK if Polian is going to feel pressed to draft one in round 1.

not a huge fan of haden, especially since he'd probably start out as the nickel corner for the Niners. Clements has the #1 spot pretty much locked down and Spencer played very well the last half of the season, I'd almost rather the Niners went O-Line with both first round picks, getting Davis with the first pick and Iupati with the second and then picked up Chad Jones in the second, addressing the Niners need for a SS that can actually offer something in pass coverage. Still, definitely one of the better mocks I've seen

Don't like your Giants draft at all.

JPP is too much of a project pick and why pass on Dan Williams?

Nate Allen in the 2nd? Why safety when they just signed Rolle. Granted, KP is a question mark but they could get better value elsewhere.

Okung was not the same dominant LT like Joe Thomas to warrant being picked over either DT if you're the Lions.

i didnt mention once any player being an OLB or DE, the site auto puts in what their position is, not taking into consideration things could be diff.

Curious as to why you would think the Packers would get a WR in the second round?

While it could very well be a smoke screen, I hear the Lions are very high on Okung and that McCoy could very well slide a bit.

I laugh when people say Nate Clements is our #1 CB. Just because he's getting paid like one doesn't make him #1. I read a lot of the comments of people who projected us to pick Haden and not one mentioned Spencer, who was actually our best CB last year. Clements got benched before eventually getting injured for the season. Clements is good and very solid but if we drafted Haden, it would be to eventually replace Nate

Nice mock btw OOBL although I'm not sure about them taking a DE/LB in the second unless he's just the BPA. 49ers were 3rd in sacks last year and I could see them sticking with the young guys to see if they can get better. Safety, another OL, ILB, or a change of pace back/KR/PR would seem to be better fit, imo

That'd be ballsy to spend the two top picks on a project DE and a back-up RB.

but it seems smart... Reese is in no danger of losing his job after that 2007 draft (or was it 08?) Regardless... with Osi possibly wanting out and Kiwi originally being a LB the possibilities are endless if you get a DE. They had the strong rotation before with Strahan, Osi, Kiwi occasionally and Tuck, not to mention a good what 4 man DT rotation? Can never be too deep at D-line.

And Best... If the Giants can consider Spiller 1st then they can jump on Best in the 2nd. Maybe if Best isn't injured late in the season he becomes the number 1 RB prospect, guys an amazing runner.

McCluster isnt really a WR. He's a kick returner and running back, as well as a slot receiver. Being a quick slot guy and 3rd down back to spell Grant as well as improving field position. The Packers offense is good, they want it to be the best possible for Rodgers.
