    2010 Hasselmock -- Version 1.0 (One Round)

(Reposting since Rush erased the first one ;) )

It's that time again. Mock drafts a plenty.. but no one on VSN has the unique name of "The Hasselmock" (of which, Senser absolutely LOVES..)

We're about a month out of the draft, most of the impact moves have taken place in free agency, and with that out of the way I figured it's a good time to begin the quest to provide a half-way decent mock that will at least shit on Todd McShay's.

With that said.. as I do every year, the first draft is a one-rounder. Comments will be reserved for the thread when I get the inevitable "why the !#$% do you have (team) taking (guy).." posts. There will be four drafts in all.. the final one being a whopper -- two rounds. I don't project more than that, because no one ever does well past a second round anyway.

    So .. hope y'all enjoy.

I don't like Carlos Dunlap, at times last year it seemed like he was asleep at the wheel.

I know it was in my sig at one point, but I just want to reiterate that Weatherspoon in anything but Falcons rednblack will make me sad.

I'd be shocked if 'Spoon got past Atlanta and Philly.

lol, seems the consensus is a DE. Feel free to make a mock, if you can criticize you gotta be able to show everybody how its done.

Ya, sounds like something the Raiders would do. Either him or the suck-ass tackle from Maryland who happens to run a 4.82.

Why would Pete Carroll draft Jimmy Clausen?

As for the Jags pick...I can dig it.

Because his starting QB is 35 and his backup is Mike Teel?

Consensus by non-Giants fans, I guess.

From what I gather, the consensus is A) Rolando McClain {if he drops} or B) Dan Williams {if he drops} to even one of the OTs. Of course there are people who want Spiller or the next best LB if McClain is gone (like Spoon).

DE isn't a horrible pick but if Williams is on the board, tough.

...and I will mock it up fooo

If we pass up on Weatherspoon for Dunlap, this draft is a failure.

Understood, but think harder...Pete Carroll has seen Jimmy Clausen for...3 years...2 games...Jimmy never beat USC. I just don't see him taking Clausen...
