Opinions on Sean Jones please.

he's not awful. not good either though. hes unnoticable. obviously his mistakes stand out more than his solid plays. tampa wont get much from him though

I like him... coverage needs a bit of work, but he is a hitting safety, he does make plays... the year with the Eagles was not good, but he was solid before then in Cleveland.

His first 3 years starting he had 25 pass defensed and 14 interceptions, about 200 solo tackles, so he does make plays. He's a guy who could breakout or just be your average starter, but he's a starter regardless.

The game against the Giants this year summed him up. One of the Giants receivers was running right at him and he just put his arm out and moved out of the way.

He's nothing more than a career backup now. Won't make an ounce of difference in anyone's backfield. He blows coverages constantly and he goes for the big hit and misses half the time.
