Cardinals agreed to terms with QB Derek Anderson, formerly of the Browns.
Since his flash-in-the-pan 2007 Pro Bowl campaign, Anderson has posted a 12:18 TD-to-INT ratio, completed an awful 47.9 of his passes, and averaged 5.38 yards per attempt. The final stat is especially discouraging for a QB with a supposed "cannon" arm, although a completion rate like his can bring that down in a hurry. In Arizona, D.A. will be billed as competition for Matt Leinart. Unless Leinart bombs this preseason, though, he should secure the job.
