Sources: Jets give Ferguson $60M extension

The New York Jets‘ contract logjam cleared up some Wednesday, when the team reached agreement on a colossal six-year, $60 million extension with offensive tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson, according to league sources.

Ferguson, 26, had two years remaining on his $37.5 million initial contract, so he now will be tied to the Jets for eight years and $73.6 million. Ferguson was the team’s first-round draft pick, fourth overall, in 2006.

I could give a damn how "solid" the JESTS defense is for years to come. Until they prove they can beat Miami, I'm not worried. And yes, I know how far they went last year. It's called over achieving. Miami did the same thing in 2008 and got knocked back down to reality last season. The JESTS will do the same this year.

No way in fuck you should've beat us on Monday Night. That game was back and forth the entire game and Miami drove down field and pounded the rock in late in the 4th. If I recall that fat sack of shit Rex Ryan didn't bother using timeouts because he thought your defense could stop them. WRONG!

The second game tho Miami had no business even being in. Thankfully we have Ted Ginn.

We'll split the season series this year. Neither teams will make the playoffs IMO.
