    Detroit goes 0-38

With the release of safety Danieol Bullucks, the Detroit Lions now do not have a single player on there team that they drafted from 2002 to 2006. Matt Millen has to go down as the worst GM in the history of any sport.

Thats really, really sad. I mean, I knew Millen was bad, but that is ridiculous. Its almost like he was trying to lose

Had to lock up that cushy ESPN job somehow... it took him a while but the plan came together perfectly.

You should be thankful none of them are still around, now you can replace them with good players.

Also, considering the avg. NFL career is like 3-5 years, I'd say it's not uncommon for players drafted between 4 and 8 years ago to no longer be around. All 38 of them being flame outs is a little crazy, sure, but it's still not unheard of that guys drafted in the early 2000s are out of the league by now.

I bet you every single team has 3-4 players from 5 drafts to be on the team. It is uncommon, which is why its crazy to not have a single player left.

I was just playing devil's advocate. I already agreed it was crazy. Just pointing out that it's not unprecedented for a lot of players to be gone after 4-8 years.

Big fucking deal. You got rid of bad players... isn't this a good thing?

Saw this on Mlive.com earlier today. It's pretty pathetic and just adds more to the "legend" of the Matt Millen era. Glad to see us finally heading in a good solid direction though.

It wouldn't be so bad that they aren't on the team, but a vast majority burned out of the league by the end of their first contract.

I always get a kick out of their pick in 2003. Charles Rodgers over Andre Johnson.

sucks being a lion fan, all there is is misery.
"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.
