Why would a older, less productive, west coast receiver get more looks. Than a highly productive 28 year old receiver, who can play in any system?

The Raiders have a lot of good young players. If they could just get a good coach (I'm hoping Tom Cable can be that guy) and fix their cap situation the Raiders could easily be good in 2 years.

because in order to get boldin a team will have to give up high draft picks and sign him to a huge deal. i agree boldin may be on the decline as far as his age is concerned., my statement was based on the pure economics of the situtation.

To me, TJ is the best 'availible' FA wide out out there. 85 may get traded and boldin might as well, but Housh is, as you said, a wr that can play in any system. plus the guy has glue for hands.
