Is Miles Austin the best wide receiver in the NFL?

was it necessary to have such a long piece on a question with an obvious answer?

One break out season. I could pick 10 WR's before him.

Let's see him put together a few solid seasons in a row before we enshrine him in Canton.

                No.

But he's in the top 10 conversation and can still make improvements to his game.

That is reasonable. He's certainly not at the top of that list though.

                      Not yet.

And frankly, the arrival of Dez Bryant might keep him from ever becoming that bonafide "All World" receiver, but it at least keeps defenses honest when facing him.

But in my eyes, he's surpassed what even I thought he could become - I expected him to break out 2 years ago, but that knee injury in preseason ruined his year.

If not for that injury, we might not even trade for Roy Williams.

                      Ah well.

If that's the case, your team should have made the effort to draft him or sign him out of Monmouth.

Only two teams showed interest in him from the get-go.

Needs another season like 2009 before this talk gets serious.
Dez Bryant may actually hurt him, because he may see fewer passes.
Poor Roy Williams - he seemed so good five years ago.
