Part of playing football is being apart of a TEAM. This is the type of shit that is supposed to build chemistry. All of these guys went through the rookie treatment when they came into the league, how do you think they are gonna view the one that refused it?

I agree with you guys. My only problem with Williams is not keeping it in house. The entire team would have most definitely been turned off by Bryant's refusal. Williams didn't help out by going to the media. If he had just kept it in the locker room then it would have been something only the team noticed. Now Williams has gone out of his way to make Bryant look bad. I think it's childish.

Why even do that? He should have just been the bigger man and kept his mouth shut instead of bringing it to the media's attention. Why even talk to the media about it? I just don't see anything good coming out of it.

Say this same exact thing has happened at other camps. I'm sure it has before at some point. I doubt Dez Bryant is the first rookie in the history of football to refuse a hazing. It's probably happened before and we just never heard about it because it's not a big deal and something you go to the media about.

Having been around Roy when he was at Texas, he's a pretty fun-loving guy who jokes around quite a bit, so I doubt his comments were entirely serious (or at least serious in a joking manner).

Either way, Bryant is already acting like a primadonna, which he was known for at Okie State. Let's hope he isn't another TO in the locker room.

EDIT: The biggest issue to me is that this made the front page of ESPN today. Who the fuck cares? ESPN should just bomb the establishment, make a fucking deal with TMZ to aggregate sports gossip, and move on with actual sports news.
