This guy should be behind bars. I didn't read the article but I'm guessing he got a full ride. Unreal that a criminal can get a full scholarship over better students and people that deserve it much more.

Still, this kid getting the nod over other students is still a shame.

He's notoriously been involved in gang activity around here. He's a punk.

article made it sound like he'll be Ole Miss's opening game starter so im guessing he can play.

he was suspended by Oregon not the NCAA right?

                  Oregon suspended him.
I don't think the NCAA really suspends people, they just rule you ineligible.

He was suspended by Oregon, not the NCAA. The NCAA doesn't suspend players unless they accept money or some kind of services.

                      What kind of services? :pedobear:

Anyway, ya, he has to walk-on. Which, in my eyes, he shouldn't even be allowed to do... But I don't really give two shits. He's an alright athlete, so I guess I'll wish him good luck... Doesn't he have to sit out the season per transfer rules? Or does he avoid that mess by walking-on?

He doesn't have to sit out a year because he's going into a graduate school program at Ole Miss that Oregon doesn't offer. It's a loophole that some of these athletes use when they try to transfer late in their college careers.

Same thing that Kirby Freeman did when he left the U to go to Baylor.

So if any Ole Miss students are looking for a cheap laptop, they now know where to turn.

                              SEC "academics".

It's the main reason Texas A&M and Texas never seriously considered going to the SEC.
