As much as I love Colt Brennan, don't use the pre-season as a barometer. The Detroit Lions in 2008 looked like the 2007 New England Patriots during the pre-season, and we all know what they did come regular season.

On a serious note, why are you comparing QBs at Hawaii and bottom teir D1 schools to QBs at SEC and Big12 schools?

I hope you realize that it's not just size/arm strength, but also the level of competition they faced. Sam Bradford faced top level competition every week and was able to perform (until he was hurt) and the same goes for Tebow.

Colt Brennan was throwing 7 TDs a game while throwing over 50 pass attempts a game against other bottom tier D1 schools. There really isn't a comparison. The fact that Brennan can't make a roster in the NFL now is not because he went to a lower level school, but more to the fact that he's obviously not as good as other QBs in the league. Pre-season games are a poor judgement of play as once again, it's facing bottom tier talent in the NFL

It's a shame he's not starting for a team right now. He could be starting for the Raiders, 49ers, Seahawks, Jets, Steelers, Bills, Dolphins, Rams, Lions and Jaguars.

Also Bradford looked real good against BYU didn't he? YEAH EXACTLY. even if he didn't get injured he was getting handled by the BYU defense. Just goes to show you that conference affiliation isn't everything. When's the last time a Big 12 school won a national championship? Exactly.
Whens the last time a WAC or Conference USA team won a Championship? Exactly.

The Big 12 won a NC in 2005.

I understand what he is saying

Nobody in the NFL is giving Brennan a chance because he played for Hawaii and not a big school

He CLEARLY has pro bowl talent but coaches would rather get fired then actually using a fucking ex-Hawaii player at QB

Colt Brennan raped WAC schools with 5 WR sets all game.

Its a travesty that he cant make it in the NFL.

They never let small school guys have a chance in the NFL, so bias.

Oh wait, isnt Joe Flacco a starting QB.

I have 1 thing to say this.

How could he start on any of the teams you've listed when they all had teams with decent QBs. Even the raiders have a QB who beat out Brennan in last years training camp.

Colt doesn't have to run while throwing though because the ball comes out of his hand that quickly

What? He was 10/14 (71.4%) for 96 yards and a TD... passer rating of 152 in one half... pretty good start in my eyes for a guy playing with 4 new starters on the oline, and the top TE in the nation on the sidelines.
