Just a fan asking - how will Philadelphia Eagles fare this season?

Just curious how you guys think the Birds will do this year.

    My prediction: 11-5

Dallas will probably win the division, they admittedly have the most talent in the division.

I think Kevin Kolb will be a fine replacement for Donovan McNabb (who gets much love and respect from this corner). It was time for the change. I still don't agree with trading him in division, but I also understand that McNabb deserved some respect too.

You can't asked for better young receivers than Jackson, Maclin and Avant.

Birds will miss B-West, no doubt, but LeSean McCoy will fill the role for the most part. Birds don't run anyway.

Brandon Graham is looking like a steal at #13 overall and combined with Trent Cole could make the Birds dangerous on D.

Nate Allen has looked good so far.

    9-7

Love that offense, but the defense is going to have games where it has all the blame placed on them.

I like Kolb, but think he'll have some growing pains at first.

Okay, now this is just a very pathetic troll attempt.

I think they get plagued by nagging injuries again, a critical Oline will fall, RB depth will fall, but they will put up points

10-6 maybe? Perhaps it'll be influenced by how they do against the Redskins... Are they going to be any good do you think? Will McNabb have a major positive impact?

Something about this year feels wrong, but I can't see the Eagles finishing below 9-7. Though I'm certainly no expert.

I don't see them finishing with more than 10 wins unless Kolb becomes a top 10 starter in the league. He may end up there someday but not this season. Defense has too many question marks.

No more than 6 or 7 wins. We have one of the toughest schedules out there. We are playing the NFC North and AFC South, 2 divisions with some of the most powerful offenses in the league. GB, Minny, Indy, Houston, TE and yes even the Jags vs a young and inexperienced defense. Same defense that has CBs that don't tackle i.e. Samuel.

Graham will help Cole early on, but he's gonna hit a wall by midseason, every rookie DE does it, unless they are Jevon Kearse.

Kolb will start getting killed as our OL gets thinned out with injuries and lack of chemistry because no one has played with each other for more than a hand full of games.

I am prepared at this point for this season. We have guaranteed wins with Detroit, maybe 1 from Jags, splits with Giants and Redskins but we will get killed by the Cowboys.
Maybe a win agains the Falcons since we are home. Bears will beat us. Niners are gonna roll us. We are playing some tough teams, anyone claiming a 11 win season before the team even gets on the field for the first month is an optimistic fool....sorry Dave. You have to remember, this same offense struggled against playoff defenses including the Raiders, who were actually decent on D. Our D also struggled to keep most passing offenses in check.

I can appreciate a fellow fans optimism, but I am a realist and even with McNabb we might have gotten 9 wins against this schedule.

6 wins seems kinda low to me. Kolb would have to be a disaster. Reid is a good coach, he'll keep them above 6 imo.

You could be right though, you obviously know the team better than I.

I am not blaming Kolb for the record. I even said with McNabb it would a hard season to go through.

I didn't say you blamed Kolb. IMO though he would really have to lay an egg for you guys to be that bad. I love the team if Kolb is as good as Philly says and the D improves a bit.
